Electrical Prefabrication Manager: The Prefabrication Manager is responsible for managing and developing Weifield’s prefabrication program for all jobsites, while taking measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Roles And Responsibilities

Design complex builds

Create fabrication forms

Direct and manage the prefabrication team

Provide general training to prefabrication team

Develop and execute strategy around builds, and provide reporting

Utilize Lean process methodologies

Ensure VDC to FAB integration

Demonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships

Be accountable for:

Warehouse and prefabrication efficiency of 100% or greater

Timely completion of prefab orders to ensure no dates are missed

High quality control for accurate assemblies of 98% or greater

Comprehensive scheduling and tracking of past, current, and future work for analytics and predictive work plans for backlog

Increasing project margins by 3% through labor rate and project hours savings

Job Qualifications

Preferably, have a Journeyman or Masters license and 5 plus years of field electrical experience

Possess excellent understanding of the electrical industry and tools

Have fabrication experience, with exposure to Lean manufacturing principles

Have experience managing a team and training direct reports

Preferably, have the following certifications: LEED AP, OSHA, NICET, NABCEP, ASHE

Have strong computer skills in MS Office 365, Bluebeam, Navisworks (model basics required), (AutoCAD is a plus)

Have the ability to think outside the box and come up with different time and cost saving ideas

Possess strong interpersonal skills to work in a diverse, dynamic, and fast paced environment.

Be capable of multi-tasking and accustomed to managing to tight project deadlines

Be self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in Weifield’s business strategies

Be willing to travel as needed
