A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-12 students in Fairfield, CA for the current school year on a contractual basis. This role involves collaborating with educators and families to provide speech and language services that enhance students' communication skills and academic success. Responsibilities
Conducting speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluations Delivering direct therapy services targeting speech, language, fluency, and related disorders Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly Collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with state and federal education regulations Qualifications
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid SLP credential for school settings Experience providing speech-language services in educational environments Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams This role offers hands-on experience within a dynamic K-12 school environment and the opportunity to positively impact students' communication development during the current school year contract.
