What you can expect as an Audiologist Extern at St. Luke’s

Starting pay at $17.33/HR

Under the direct supervision of a licensed audiologist, assist in providing diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services to patients.

Utilize evidence‑based practice methods: identify, assess, and treat hearing problems and balance disorders; discuss symptoms with patients.

Complete documentation related to the diagnostic and rehabilitative services provided.

Fit, program, repair, and modify hearing instruments.

Qualifications

Education: Fourth‑year candidate for an Au.D. or Ph.D. in Audiology, with referral from a university audiology program supervisor.

Licenses/Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) provider, certified through the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
