Overview

The Urology Clinic is seeking a dynamic nursing professional to lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, managing nursing personnel, and effectively utilizing material and fiscal resources. The ideal candidate will foster strong collaboration across departments and with organizational leadership to support the clinic’s mission. Additionally, this role plays a key part in promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement and advancing clinical research initiatives. Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate delivery of high-quality patient care in the Urology Outpatient Clinic. Oversee clinical operations and manage nursing personnel. Collaborate with departments and organizational leadership to support the clinic’s mission. Promote continuous quality improvement and advance clinical research initiatives. Qualifications

Required Education and Experience License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York. Certification or eligibility for Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Education and Experience Master\'s degree in Nursing with the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience; or Master\'s degree in Nursing with the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience. Notes As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the appropriate certification within eighteen (18) months of their appointment to this title. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have experience in an ambulatory or outpatient oncology setting, along with an OCN or other relevant nursing certification. Demonstrated participation in interdisciplinary collaboration—such as tumor boards, care coordination, or multidisciplinary initiatives—is highly valued. Additionally, a strong background in implementing and managing relationship-based (1:1) nursing care models is essential. Equal Employment Opportunity Statement
