Patient Population : Post Cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure. True Cardiac ICU‑CRRT, Impella, Swan, AIBP, etc.
Experience : Candidates MUST have minimum of 1‑year recent, full time ICU, PCU, or Telemetry RN experience. Cardiac ICU and/or Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU specific RN experience preferred.
Shift : FT/Nights | 7p‑7a | Three 12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends.
Patient Ratios : 1:2 ICU and 1:4 Tele.

Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
What You'll Do
Conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create and evaluate care plans.
Build relationships, manage discomfort, stay professional in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan, delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
Use different strategies for problem‑solving with patients, families, and staff, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards.
Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards and guidelines.
Proficiency in medical terms focusing on health, disease prevention, management.
Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
Exceptional communication skills, clear expression of thoughts both verbally and in writing.
Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of parties.
Excellent problem‑solving capabilities, driving effective critical thinking.
Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, EMR documentation, email.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Valid nursing license and BLS certification within 30 days.
Minimum 1‑year recent, full time ICU, PCU, or Telemetry RN experience. Cardiac ICU and/or CVICU experience preferred.
