Post Cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure. True Cardiac ICU – CRRT, Impella, Swan, AIBP, etc. This unit operates as a Cardiac Universal Bed (CUB) and includes Cardiac ICU and Cardiac Telemetry patients; all nurses on the unit must be comfortable caring for both. Required Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time ICU, PCU, or Telemetry RN experience. Shift
Full-time Nights | 7a-7p | Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends Patient Ratios

As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. What You'll Do
Conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes. Build relationships, manage discomfort, and maintain professionalism in therapeutic connections with patients and families. Create care plans reflecting values to aid in resolving issues. Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. Collaborate with colleagues and the community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly. Use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery. Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth. Contribute to peers’ development and show community service commitment. What Will Make You Successful in the Role
A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures. Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in your area. Understanding hospital procedures and rules. Proficiency in medical terms, focusing on health, disease prevention, management, common meds, and their side effects. Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights. Exceptional communication skills for clear expression of thoughts both verbally and in writing. Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of parties. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking. Graduate of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing A current and valid nursing license Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year recent, full-time ICU, PCU, or Telemetry RN experience. Cardiac ICU and/or Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU experience is preferred.
