$90,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr If you are interested in multiple locations, please only apply once; your preference will be discussed during the screening process. As a Transportation Design Engineer, you will lead the evaluation, selection, and design of transportation system solutions, generate conceptual designs and construction documents, collaborate with staff at all levels, engage with clients and communities, and participate in on-the-job training. Your main focus will be to offer innovative and well-thought-out design solutions that align with client objectives and adhere to the latest best practices established by organizations like NACTO. You will also oversee project management, tasks, and technical staff to ensure project delivery. We partner with diverse clients, including public agencies, private firms, and institutions, aiming to be trusted partners by delivering cutting-edge technical expertise. Our work includes PS&E, corridor studies, master plans, conceptual designs, environmental documents, and more. Our team is passionate about improving mobility and accessibility in communities. Leading and managing engineering and planning studies Performing fieldwork, site reviews, and supporting during construction Preparing conceptual designs that are accurate, feasible, and visually engaging Preparing plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for various transportation projects Managing client interactions and community engagement Marketing and developing new projects through client relationships and proposals Mentoring colleagues and receiving mentorship from senior staff Qualifications

3-8 years of transportation engineering experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in transportation, civil, electrical engineering, urban planning, or related fields Current or intended PE license Experience with Caltrans, MUTCD, and AASHTO standards Knowledge of signing, striping, and traffic signal plans Experience with safety countermeasures and mobility issues Proposal development and client relationship skills Interest in mentoring and training staff Additional Desired Qualifications

Road Safety Professional (RSP) certification Community engagement passion Quick-build project experience Active transportation planning and design expertise Road safety planning skills Benefits
