Members of our staff work on products that are used in a variety of applications, including weather and climate research, weather modification, aircraft icing certification, air quality monitoring, and detection of pollen and other bioaerosols. Service Engineer . The successful candidate will be responsible for the active troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of new and existing opto-mechanical equipment. Responsibilities : Troubleshooting, Calibration, and QA/QC of newly manufactured and legacy laser-based optomechanical instrumentation to meet on-time volume production goals. Interaction with customers to troubleshoot, repair, and re-calibrate their existing laser-based optomechanical instrumentation remotely and in the factory. Assistance in the development and documentation of instruments, test plans, wiring schematics, and assembly procedures. Provide internal quotations for repair and/or calibration to the DMT Business Development (sales) team for further liaising with customers Working with the DMT Business Development (sales) team to train and assist customers using DMT instrumentation. Some lifting and moving will be necessary up to 50lbs. Qualifications : B.S. Engineering Technology (Electrical, Optical or Mechanical) or equivalent. Ideally experience with Single and Multi Gas Analyzers Demonstrated ability to build and troubleshoot circuits from wiring and circuit board schematics, constructing instrumentation from mechanical drawings. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures. Ability to use essential MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel). Willing to travel (
