Service Engineer
Pay Range: 90-100K

How you’ll spend your time as a Service Engineer position:
Troubleshooting, Calibration, and QA/QC of laser-based optomechanical instrumentation.
Interact with customers to troubleshoot, repair, and re-calibrate their existing laser-based optomechanical instrumentation remotely and in the factory.
Assist in the development and the documentation of instruments, test plans, wiring schematics, and assembly procedures.
Working with the Business Development team to train and assist customers using DMT instrumentation.
Some lifting and moving equipment (up to 50lbs).
Skills & experience we’d like you to have as a Service Engineer:
2+ years of related experience- new Electrical Engineering grads should apply
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related)
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience in the design, prototyping, and initial testing of PCB’s. Experience with Altium a plus.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, cable diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
Familiarity with operation of digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Comfortable working with clients in a professional manner and prioritizing their needs.
Willing to travel ( US citizen or permanent resident
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
