supporting our Acton, MA operations. The position involves applying academic knowledge to real-world projects, including construction quality assurance (CQA) for earthwork, water treatment, instrumentation, and civil and geotechnical construction projects. The candidate will also develop business skills on a construction site, offering growth opportunities in technical and managerial areas. http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor job site activities for compliance with contract documents Prepare daily, weekly, and progress reports Ensure project documentation accuracy Conduct geotechnical investigations Monitor heavy civil construction projects Perform and review engineering calculations Inspect dams, levees, and CCR facilities, and assist with evaluations Develop construction documents Write and review engineering reports Fieldwork comprises up to 90% of duties. Overnight travel is limited if based in Nashville; other travel opportunities may arise. Education and Licensure Bachelor's in civil, geotechnical engineering, or geology (required) Advanced degree (preferred) Professional registration (e.g., P.E., P.G) (preferred) Skills, Experience, and Qualifications At least 2 years of engineering consulting experience or equivalent Experience with AutoCAD, Slope/W, PLAXIS (preferred) Field work and travel required Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, drug and background testing required Valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record required Employment Details
