Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of high‑voltage electrical and substation projects ranging from 15 kV to 161 kV. This role will deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality electrical system installations within the utility sector.
Responsibilities
Oversee technical designs and coordinate with utility clients.
Support procurement, construction, and ensure compliance with utility regulations and national standards.
Ensure all electrical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Three to ten years of experience in an electric utility system; experience with substation design, construction, operation, and maintenance preferred.
Strong understanding of protection systems, SCADA, control logic, and grounding practices.
Working knowledge of project management tools.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) strongly preferred.
Benefits
Salary range: $85,000 to $125,000 per year; negotiable based on experience.
