The Assistant Project Manager is experienced and motivated to lead the successful execution of construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This individual will coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, uphold safety and quality standards, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors. The Project Manager will ensure that each project meets or exceeds expectations for timeliness, cost control, and performance.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Assist with developing detailed project plans, including scope of work, schedule updates, budget, and resource allocation

Assist with project kickoff and coordination meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Assist with overseeing the permitting, procurement, and mobilization processes

Assist PM with owner and sub-contractors pay app

Team and Site Leadership: Assist with supervising field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe and efficient site operations

Foster a collaborative team environment aligned with Narcomey’s values

Conduct regular job site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain accountability

Client and Stakeholder Management: Assist PM as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and project stakeholders

Communicate clearly and regularly with all parties regarding project status, milestones, and challenges

Address concerns promptly to maintain client satisfaction and trust

Budgeting and Cost Control: Track project expenses and financial performance with SAGE accounting system and ProCore project management

Identify and process change orders with appropriate documentation and approvals

Review invoices, subcontractor payments, and monthly billing and provide to PM for approval

Assist PM with the following: Submittals, RFI’s, RFQ’s / formal change, Closeouts, Insurance / W-9’s

Safety and Quality Oversight: Enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies

Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications

Coordinate and conduct inspections, punch list walk-throughs, and final close-out procedures

Assist with ProCore QA inspections

Project Close-Out: Assist in delivering completed projects with all required documentation, warranties, and certifications

Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate team performance and process improvements

Ensure proper filing of all project records and final reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams

Proficiency in project management tool, Procore, SAGE accounting, MS project, Quick Bid

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements

OSHA certification preferred; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites around Tulsa

Demonstrated ability to analyze project financials
