RN Supervisor Med Surg Ortho role at Medical City Healthcare. Facility: Medical City Dallas – Heart & Spine. Schedule: FT Nights, 7:00pm – 7:00am with rotating weekends. May be eligible for a Sign on Bonus of $15K. Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values to deliver an exceptional patient experience and outcomes. What you will do in this role

Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care. Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, in collaboration with the management team. Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to foster teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service. Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Support facility efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds. Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment. Qualifications

Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred Current RN license in Texas or active compact license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association required at hire 1+ years of recent acute care experience (unit experience preferred) Supervisory/Charge experience preferred Benefits
