Role:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)/RN Supervisor ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all unit/department functions during the designated shift. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with policies/procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s values to support exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes. What you will do in this role
Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care. Assess the quality of patient care services in the unit in collaboration with the management team. Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes. Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement (e.g., employee rounding, hourly rounds). Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff; support actions related to training, development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and assist with supplies and equipment management. Qualifications
Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Current RN license in TX or active compact license Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) from Red Cross or American Heart Association required at hire 1+ years of recent acute care experience, preferably in unit Supervisory/Charge experience preferred About Medical City Dallas
