Washington University in St. Louis . Position is PRN (as needed) with responsibilities in diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, in a Cardiology setting. Position Summary
Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, utilizing a variety of equipment and following prescribed procedures. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculates doses and administers doses under the direction of a physician. Calibrates equipment. Performs diagnostic studies on patients as prescribed by physician using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film. Measures radioactivity, using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors. Administers therapeutic doses of radiopharmaceuticals under direction of physician. Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials. Renders appropriate patient care. Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients and assists them during procedures. Performs PET and other designated research studies in accordance with necessary study procedures so that studies are completed as designed. Working Conditions
Normal office environment. Physical and Equipment

Required Qualifications: A diploma, certification or degree is not required. Certifications
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Work Experience
Nuclear Medicine (2 Years) Skills
Cardiology Clinical Research, Communication, Echocardiography, Medical Terminology Driver's License

Salary Range:
$32.73 - $50.74 / Hourly. The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including qualifications, performance, equity, market rates, and budget. Pre-Employment Screening:
