Seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide in-office care for children, adults, post-partum clients, and those navigating mild-to-moderate substance use. Ascension Counseling in Beachwood, Ohio is looking for a PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to provide in-office psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and compassionate care across the lifespan. The ideal candidate will have experience working with post-partum clients, pediatric populations, adults, and individuals managing mild-to-moderate substance use concerns. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing and managing medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care. Candidates should be comfortable supporting clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs while maintaining a trauma-informed and family-systems perspective. Qualifications
Active Ohio PMHNP-BC license. Experience in psychiatry, including perinatal, pediatric, adult, and mild-to-moderate substance use treatment. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
