Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a focus on supporting the lifespan or adult population. Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, evaluate needs for medications, and prescribe as indicated

Conduct urgent assessments of persons in crisis and evaluate as appropriate

Provide information and collaborate with others involved in treatment planning

Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and consultations

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university

Active and unrestricted State of Wisconsin License

Minimum 1-2+ years' experience practicing as a PMHNP-BC

Knowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operations

Proficient in the use of computers; experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred

Salary Range for PMHNPs: $135,000 – $176,000; final compensation determined by education, experience, internal equity, and location

Nystrom & Associates is a multidisciplinary Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment clinic, providing integrative care with services including psychiatry, outpatient mental health therapy, substance use treatment, psychological testing, and related programs.
