Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with experience in Cardiology to provide on-site care to residents in long-term care settings. This is a
full-time
position ideal for a provider who values meaningful patient relationships and a collaborative care environment. As a Cardiology Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage
Requirements
DEA License
6 months of experience in long-term care
Reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel to different nursing homes within the state of Missouri (100% commitment)
