Still University invites applications for a full-time (12-month), tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or other terminal degree with formal training in one or more anatomical disciplines. Additionally, candidates should possess at least two years of postdoctoral experience and demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Teaching responsibilities at KCOM and MOSDOH include a wide range of anatomical subjects for medical and dental students. This role requires a balance between teaching, research, and service as determined by the department chair. Teaching responsibilities include Histology, Human Gross Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, and Embryology for medical and dental students. The role involves balancing teaching, research, and service, with faculty enjoying designated research space and initial funding support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Contribute to the academic mission through service at the college, university, and professional organizations at various levels. Skills and Requirements PhD, DO, or MD required. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work without direct supervision. Personable, patient, and able to work well with others. Interest in medical education. Flexible and capable of managing multiple projects. Dependable and professional.
