UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California. Position Summary

The Assistant Practice Manager partners with senior management and affiliated physicians to ensure the overall efficient operations of the clinical practice. The Assistant Practice Manager is responsible for supporting the organizational day-to-day needs of clinic operations, and direct supervision of the office staff. The Assistant Practice Manager oversees aspects of service delivery, quality assurance, and partners with our compliance team to ensure governmental regulations, licensing, regulatory compliance, program policies. The position is hands-on, interacts, and coordinates with management, staff, and patients. What You Will Be Doing

Oversee the operations of clinical and non-clinical care for the site, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards including quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical records documentation to ensure effective patient care and service quality. Collaborate with operations leadership on development and implementation of clinic goals, policies, procedures, budget plans and work standards. Provide direct supervision to support staff (front and back office) and manage employee performance to ensure optimal patient flow and high clinical quality. Monitor and improve practice key performance indicators related to revenue cycle, patient satisfaction, and access standards to ensure adherence to performance expectations. Serve as the key problem-solving resource for staff on patient issues and as the first point of contact for patient complaints and insurance plan grievances. Act as the OSHA and Compliance Liaison at the clinic site, ensuring compliance with established company policies, current healthcare regulations, HIPAA requirements, medical laws, and ethics.
