Position Summary

The Medical Assistant supports the flow of patient care by providing excellent patient relations. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for greeting patients and checking out patients. This position requires commuting to Chula Vista 2 days a week. Responsibilities

Provide general patient care services, including taking patient's vital information, specimen collections, intake registration forms, and conversing with patients to complete records. Scheduling appointments and follow-ups Answering/fielding patient phone calls courteously and professionally and overseeing and ensuring efficient turnover of patient rooms Receive payments from patients for services rendered Checking patients in and out Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field Knowledge of HIPAA laws EMR system experience Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience working in a fast-paced environment What We Offer
