Traffic Team Leader/Project Manager
to guide our Traffic Team in Morgantown, WV. In this role, you will provide leadership both in-person and virtually, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and professional growth. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful project execution, optimizing resources, and strengthening client relationships. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development:
Coach, lead, and inspire team members to reinforce a culture of ownership, engagement, and professional growth Project & Resource Management:
Drive superior project execution, cross-service collaboration, and workload prioritization while monitoring project budgets and utilization Client Relations:
Support efforts to maintain long-term client partnerships by delivering high-quality service and ensuring client satisfaction Strategic Collaboration:
Work with peers, Group Managers, and Service Group team members to drive budget management, technical direction, and operational efficiency Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of West Virginia, Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Certification preferred 8+ years of technical competency and project experience to include projects such as: Traffic Impact Studies Traffic signalization Corridor traffic signal optimization Pavement Design Markings Intersection improvement studies/ design Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and detour plans Accessible curb ramp design Familiarity with WVDOH Traffic Design Directives, MUTCD, AASHTO, and PENNDOT Standards Experience with roadway design software such as OpenRoads Designer (preferred), MicroStation, or Civil 3D Familiarity with travel demand modeling concepts including knowledge of traffic analysis software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM) is desirable. Minimum 4+ years of project management experience is preferred Ability to provide timely project deliverables Develop and maintain excellent client satisfaction Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays Valid U.S. Driver's License is required Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Life at HRG
