Loan Servicing - Customer Service Specialist - CT, South Windsor
RCN Capital – Elite Commercial Servicing is looking for a Customer Service Representative who will play a vital role in ensuring a positive borrower experience throughout the life of a mortgage loan. This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues related to loan servicing, and providing accurate information regarding payments, escrow accounts, statements, and loan terms. Primary Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls, emails, and written correspondence from borrowers regarding mortgage loan servicing. Provide clear and accurate information about loan balances, payment history, escrow accounts, and payoff requests. Research and resolve customer issues related to billing, payment processing, and account discrepancies. Educate borrowers on available options for payment assistance, loan modifications, and other servicing programs. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up actions in servicing systems. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., escrow, collections, loss mitigation) to ensure seamless customer support. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Courteous and positive attitude Team oriented Detailed listening skills Prior experience in mortgage servicing or financial customer service is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle sensitive customer information with discretion and professionalism. Strong problem solving skills and a customer first mindset. Required Experience 2 year experience in a customer service financial environment Knowledge of mortgage industry a plus At least 1 year of experience using MS Office applications in a professional environment At least 2 year of experience in Loan Servicing or Banking preferred Education H.S. diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree preferred Schedule Part time Onsite Monday-Friday, 10AM to 3PM Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Finance and Sales
