in Solano County. This is a Limited Term position (12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent). Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and coordinate varied administrative support and clerical activities at an institutional health care program. Supervise clerical staff and may assign resources to support health care administrative service functions. Train and supervise staff and manage the unit workload. Minimum Qualifications
Either I: One year of experience in California state service performing duties of a class with a level of responsibility equivalent to Office Technician. Or II: Three years of clerical experience, at least one year of which shall have been in a responsible position performing a variety of difficult clerical work or supervising the work of a small group of employees. (Experience in the California state service applied toward the specialized one-year requirement must be performing duties of a class with a level of responsibility equivalent to Office Technician.) Education: Academic education above the twelfth grade may be substituted for one year of the required general experience on the basis of either (a) one year of general education being equivalent to three months of experience; or (b) one year of education of a business or commercial nature being equivalent to six months of experience. Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 4 and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees to have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and to receive 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027.
