We are hiring candidates anywhere in the United States, working a hybrid work schedule requiring 3 days per week in the office. You will lead the business insights partnership between Acosta and our client, delivering advanced, value‑added, insight‑driven analytical solutions that provide actionable insights, business solutions, and profitable recommendations.
Responsibilities
Analyze complex data and provide proactive guidance and recommendations addressing the 4‑Ps (product, pricing, promotion, placement).
Lead and direct the category review process through the 3‑call process, engaging cross‑functional teams to provide a complete category management solution.
Build compelling sales presentations using syndicated, shopper, and other data sources for in‑depth analysis.
Understand the client’s KPIs that drive profit & sales and deliver data reports to scorecards or validate progress.
Work closely with clients and business managers, setting up regular meetings to become a trusted advisor.
Provide follow‑up, summarize results of analysis, create case studies and success stories.
Qualifications Education Requirements
High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
Related work experience can substitute for the educational requirement.
Category Management Certification Preferred.
Work Experience Requirements
3‑5 years related work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
Solid working knowledge of the CPG industry.
Proficient in industry tools utilized for the work assigned.
Advanced proficiency in Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Advanced skill in planning, preparation, and delivering effective solutions.
Extrapolate opportunities to drive results based on analysis of a business challenge or opportunity.
Communicate clearly and effectively while adapting to the audience.
Independently manages and, at times, leads project plans, assuming responsibility for tracking, communication, and timing.
Break down larger problems into smaller components and potential resolutions.
Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, gaining trust and respect.
Execute against strategic objectives by developing tactical plans.
