Facilitate in proposal and execution of inventory deployment strategy (pre-season & in-season), accounting for constraints and inputs such as inventory levels by store group, timing of product delivery, minimum presentation, and distribution of sizes to support merchandise sales plans. Support timely and accurate execution in support of New Store Openings. Provide store analysis/insight/opportunities based on revenue and sell through percent targets. Analyze business performance, sales, and inventory productivity while monitoring results, actioning necessary adjustments with change agility to deliver budgeted sales and margin and planned sell-through expectations. Partner with the Merchandise Planner and Merchandiser to prioritize allocation of core and fashion product across channels. Work with Logistics and Production partners to resolve external constraints that impact inventory flow to distribution center and stores. Support inventory management between retail, ecommerce and wholesale channels. Review and analyze weekly store performance/inventory levels; recommend changes to forecasts. Visit stores to review presentation, stock content/levels; identify issues and solicit suggestions from the field team. Partner cross-functionally with Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, Production, Channel leads, Logistics and Warehouse teams. Qualifications
2+ years of analytical experience in merchandise planning or inventory management. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Statistics, or equivalent experience preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including v-lookups, pivot tables, logic formulas, and basic macros. Familiarity or experience with ladder or replenishment planning. Strong ability to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively. Experience with planning and business intelligence tools such as Shopify, Microsoft D365, Microstrategy, and Power BI. Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure. Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities. Excellent understanding of merchandise as it relates to company strategy; strong prioritizing and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and merchants; able to present complex information clearly to varied audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with computer literacy and relevant planning, finance, analytical, and data management systems. Additional Information
