As the PeopleOps Generalist, you will support employees and contribute to a positive workplace culture. You will own a range of administrative and operational responsibilities to ensure smooth employee experiences and scalable People processes. Your involvement will include onboarding/offboarding, system administration, reporting and analysis, benefits and payroll support, audits and compliance, and employee engagement programs. You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR initiatives. Responsibilities
Own and optimize core HR operations from onboarding to offboarding, fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and data privacy standards. Serve as the primary HRIS admin for core systems (e.g., ADP, Lattice) and leverage automation to streamline processes and reporting. Keep handbooks, policies, org charts, and internal processes up-to-date and clearly communicated; manage internal knowledge base. Act as internal liaison on benefits and payroll in partnership with the PEO and Finance team; communicate benefits, support enrollment, and troubleshoot issues. Design and maintain people-centric programs and engagement opportunities to boost retention and growth. Be a trusted resource for employees and managers; address questions, provide guidance, and help mitigate employee relations issues. Gather feedback via surveys and check-ins; analyze people metrics to guide decisions and identify improvements. Support performance review cycles in partnership with managers. Assist with internal communications, events, and employer branding related to culture and change initiatives. Assist Recruiting Manager with ATS maintenance, interview scheduling, and recruitment coordination; willing to handle full-cycle recruiting during high-volume periods. Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, IT, and department managers on operational practices and initiatives. Participate in ad-hoc projects and stay informed on workforce trends and AI-driven workflows with ethical, human-centered practices. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in People Operations/HR, ideally in software/technology. Hands-on experience with onboarding/offboarding, engagement, recognition, performance management, payroll and benefits, audits, and compliance. Familiarity with HR platforms (ADP Workforce Now, Lattice, Greenhouse preferred) and O365 tools. Strong ability to support employees and leadership across HR functions; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong execution. Experience with HR reporting and data-driven decision-making. Curiosity and adaptability in adopting AI-driven workflows with ethical and human-centered practices. Problem-solving, resourcefulness, and collaboration across teams. Desire for continuous learning and operational improvements; comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment. Company information
