$8,248 - $9,857 Examinations:
Appraisal (Weight 100%) of training, education, experience, interest, and personal fitness based on investigation, oral exam, and application rating. Applicants must score at least 70% on each phase. Minimum Qualifications/Employment Standards
Pre-licensed : Must have a doctorate in psychology, educational psychology, or related field from an accredited institution, including 1500 hours of clinical internship. Must hold or be within three months of obtaining a Mental Health Professional Licensing Waiver from the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), or current registration as a Psychological Assistant with the California Board of Psychology. A California license as a Psychologist must be obtained within five or six years, depending on the initial qualification. Level I : Completion of an accredited doctorate in Clinical Psychology and possession of a current California License to practice as a Psychologist or a license in another state with eligibility for a waiver. Level II : Same educational requirements as Level I, plus five years of post-doctoral experience, and possession of a current California License or license in another state with waiver eligibility. Must possess a valid California Class C Driver's License. Application Process
