A school psychologist is needed to provide evaluation services for elementary students in a contract position based in the New Haven area, including Stratford and surrounding communities. The assignment primarily involves conducting initial and triennial evaluations for students to support their educational assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations focusing on initial and triennial assessments for elementary-age students. Collaborate with educational teams to interpret evaluation results and assist in developing appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to assessments. Participate in meetings as needed concerning student progress and services.
Qualifications And Experience
Current Connecticut School Psychologist License (CT 070) is required. Experience with school-based psychological evaluations is preferred. Ability to manage evaluation caseload efficiently within specified timelines. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details
Location: Primarily Franklin Elementary with possible additional evaluations in district schools around Stratford, CT. Duration: Contract until June 11, 2025. Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 35 hours per week. Start Date: ASAP. Equipment: Chromebook will be provided; no remote or hybrid work available.
