An opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support an elementary education setting in the Stratford, CT area, including possible assignments in surrounding communities. This contract position spans the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and concluding June 11, 2025. The role entails conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, specifically initial assessments and triennial reviews, for elementary-aged students. The caseload focuses exclusively on evaluations rather than ongoing counseling or intervention services. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, totaling approximately 35 hours per week. Assignments will primarily be at Franklin Elementary, with potential additional evaluations across the district. Key Qualifications Include Current Connecticut School Psychologist license (CT 070) required Experience working in elementary school settings is preferred Ability to perform thorough psychological evaluations that inform educational planning Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff Professionalism in adhering to district policies and evaluation procedures This position requires candidates to be onsite as hybrid or remote arrangements are not available. The district is prepared to provide a Chromebook to facilitate work tasks, but candidates must have reliable in-person attendance.
