Assess students occupational therapy needs and develop individualized intervention plans Implement therapeutic activities to enhance fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress Document sessions, maintain records, and participate in team meetings as required Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students across all grade levels (K-12)
Desired Qualifications
Current Occupational Therapist license or certification appropriate for school settings Experience working with children in a K-12 educational environment Strong understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices and IDEA regulations Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to remain flexible and adapt to the varied demands of a leave replacement role
Location:Chicago, Illinois Services provided within a K-12 school setting
