Job Title: Physician, General ENT | Sleep Surgery (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
The physician provides licensed medical care, including diagnosis, specialized surgical expertise in treating severe sleep disorders, treatment (including surgery or pre/post-surgical care where appropriate), case management, and clinical research.
The Physician manages complex and sometimes unpredictable situations. The Physician must be competent in technical, clinical, and surgical skills (where appropriate), cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve those patients receiving the above-mentioned services.
Required Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board certified or board eligible in specialization required
Successful completion of a Sleep Surgery Program
State of Ohio and DEA licensure required
Faculty Defined : Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with titles of assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical and professor-clinical. These faculty will have earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field.
Tenure-Track faculty
(regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure. Research Faculty
(regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor.
