Description
MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Vascular Surgery Portland, ME is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Limb Preservation team.
The APP will independently manage consultations, conduct rounds, write orders, consent patients for surgery and procedures, discharge patients, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and assist in the OR. Additionally, they will see patients in the outpatient setting, both independently and jointly with the limb preservation physicians (Podiatry/Vascular). This may include performing wound care, charting, assisting with procedures and procuring supplies.
This is both an inpatient and outpatient position, with travel to multiple clinical locations in the greater Portland metro area throughout the week. Patients served will include those requiring limb preservation as well as general vascular care and treatment.
Beautiful coastal Portland offers the amenities of city life nestled between the gorgeous beaches and forests of Maine. Our patients come to us from across the state and the world: nearly 1 in 10 Portland city residents is foreign-born. The APP will have a demonstrated fluency and interest in caring for patients from various backgrounds.
We welcome another APP with a team-oriented approach to care and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
