Clinical Nurse Manager, UofL Hospital, 6 Tower — Louisville, KY Address : 530 South Jackson Street, Louisville, KY 40202 Shift : First Shift (United States of America) Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance, service quality, clinical outcomes, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, and patient satisfaction. The clinical manager of the nursing department will have direct reporting responsibility to a designated nursing director. Responsibilities
Oversee daily unit operations and ensure alignment with patient care standards and organizational goals. Develop and manage budgets, monitor resource utilization, and support financial performance of the nursing unit. Lead quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service quality. Foster employee engagement and professional development within the nursing staff. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) Prior experience in nursing leadership roles in the hospital setting Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program Professional certification in either a leadership or clinical specialty area (If certification not present on hire, it is to be obtained within 3 years of hire into position.) Benefits & Perks
