Focused on delivering outstanding clinical service in a novel care model, you will collaborate with a dedicated and excellence-driven team to shape the future of emergency care at our new Ocala Neighborhood Hospital. The UF Department of Emergency Medicine proudly maintains an affiliation with UF Health Shands Hospital, a distinguished 1,162-bed teaching facility renowned for its Level 1 trauma center and cutting-edge burn center. As the primary referral center for North Central Florida, our institution stands as a beacon of excellence in healthcare. This affiliation underscores our commitment to top-tier medical care and innovation. Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality emergency care to a broad range of patients. Facilitate smooth transfers to higher-acuity care when needed. Champion a positive patient experience in a fast-paced setting. Be among the first to practice in a purpose-built microhospital using an innovative care model. Collaborate with nursing, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership; maintain a direct affiliation with UF’s main Emergency Department in Gainesville.
