VCA Westlake Village Animal Hospital in Westlake Village, CA is seeking an extraordinary Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This position will begin as
part-time , with the potential to transition into a
full-time role
based on performance, availability, and clinic needs. Ideal for candidates looking to grow into a long-term position with more hours over time.
Pay Range (based on experience):
$20.50 - $22.00/hour
Position Overview: As a CSR, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients – whether on the phone, at the front desk, or online. Your role is critical in ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and patients, from check-in to check-out, while supporting our veterinary team with scheduling, communication, and medical record maintenance.

What You’ll Do
Greet clients warmly and compassionately in person and over the phone
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar efficiently
Process payments, invoices, and estimates
Maintain accurate and organized medical records
Coordinate patient flow and assist with client education
Handle emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience
as a veterinary receptionist or CSR (preferred)
Knowledge of veterinary terminology and common procedures
Strong communication and multitasking skills
A calm, compassionate demeanor and team-focused attitude
Preferred Skills
Team Player
Experience handling client conflict or end-of-life support
Understanding of basic veterinary treatments or medications
