Clinical Specialist – RN, San Antonio BD (Tissuemed Ltd) invites a Registered Nurse to join their Clinical Specialist team focused on Medication Delivery Solutions in the San Antonio region.

Overview The Clinical Specialist plays a key role in executing a value‑added clinical business strategy. Responsibilities include implementing clinical programs, engaging in conversion management, product implementation, and training of MDS products. The role reports directly to a Clinical Manager and operates primarily in a defined territory with occasional regional support.

Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Regional Team to ensure a clinically effective sales and conversion management process from pre‑validation to retention.

Develop strong relationships with end‑users while providing product in‑servicing and clinical education.

Facilitate customer training classes in support of conversion or retention for key customers.

Collaborate with the Sales Team in key account management strategy sessions.

Manage per Diem nurses and mentor contract nursing staff to build clinical skills.

Conduct VAM assessments supporting Vascular Care and Vascular Access sales bags.

Provide monthly updates to the Clinical Manager on regional training activities and support provided in the region.

About You

Minimum Registered Nurse with current license and a Bachelor’s degree; BSN highly preferred.

Minimum 5 years of general clinical experience, including 3 years specializing in ultrasound for vascular access device insertion.

Proven training skills and strong understanding of infusion therapy, vascular access, and key disease states.

Able to travel up to 70% to conduct initial and ongoing training to maintain accounts in the designated region.

Must possess and maintain a valid state‑issued driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards.
