Must be willing to drive to different areas (LA/South Bay, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Ventura, IE) Shifts:
Nights 12am-8am Hourly:
$35.00 - $38.00 Responsibilities
Provide intermittent visits and shifts of skilled nursing care to hospice patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Perform prescribed medical treatments, including pain management and symptom control. Conduct nursing observations and education for patients, families, or other primary caregivers on the expected course of disease, care techniques, and other health measures. Participate in the development and implementation of the patient care plan with the hospice interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate a sympathetic attitude toward caring for hospice patients and families; communicate effectively with the hospice team; and be proficient with computers and electronic medical records. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing. Current LVN license within the State. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred. At least one year of LVN/LPN experience. Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
