Job Summary Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
Responsibilities
Position patient, prep patient, circulate case.
Maintain infection control standards.
Work as part of interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Provide basic care needs to surgical patients during inpatient stay under direction of RN.
Schedule Options 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.
Current Arizona Nursing License.
Current CPR, ACLS certified.
Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics.
Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills.
