Regent University . Responsibilities

Teach courses within the Engineering and Computer Science department at all levels both on campus and online. Mentor students outside of the classroom in a variety of ways, including academic mentoring, providing graduate and undergraduate research opportunities, supporting student competition teams, serving on committees, and engaging in outreach for recruitment and retention. Perform research with the potential to build an national/international reputation, engage in industrial collaborations, and provide innovative teaching. Support department service efforts that maintain program accreditation and designations through regular assessment and improvement of programs, curriculum, and instruction. Qualifications

Education

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred. M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering will be considered. Prerequisites for the Job

Demonstrate proven skills in leadership, research achievement, and professional engagement. Teaching experience preferred. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple tasks. Critical thinking, analysis, writing, and project management capabilities. Personal Characteristics

Must be fully supportive of the mission and direction of Regent University and the College of Arts and Sciences to develop and promote Christian leadership. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and complete detailed work. Demonstrates the Regent values of excellence, innovation, and integrity.
