Shift Coverage: Scheduled + No Call Shift Schedule: Standard 5, 8-Hour 08:00 - 16:00 About The Facility
Facility Type: Urgent Care General Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat patients with autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal disorders and other rheumatologic conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout and osteoporosis. Perform joint injections, aspirations and other minor procedures as necessary. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments and manage complications related to chronic conditions. Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post-care management strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Skills
In-depth knowledge of rheumatologic diseases, diagnostic methods and treatment options. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent ability to explain complex medical information to patients. Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex conditions. Excellent manual dexterity and precision. Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams. Education & Licenses
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school. Residency in internal medicine or related field accredited by ACGME or AOA. Fellowship in rheumatology. Board certification in rheumatology by ABIM or AOBIM. Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington. Experience
Typically, at least one year of experience in a clinical rheumatology setting is preferred. Additional Notes
