Upstate Vet Emergency + Specialty Care, located in Greenville, SC, is excited to expand our team with full-time Emergency Veterinarian mentees. Specialty Support:
Our robust on-site specialty services include critical care, surgery, cardiology, internal medicine, medical and radiation oncology, neurology, and dentistry. We also work closely with an independent dermatology service. Advanced Diagnostics and Care:
We offer advanced imaging (CT/MRI), fluoroscopy, endoscopy and laparoscopy. As ER doctors, you will be supported by specialists for after-hours emergency ultrasound, scope and surgery. The Ethos ER Immerse Training Program The ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. It focuses on clinical knowledge and skills, client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration. The ER Immerse program uses a hybrid training approach with simulation-based didactic components and authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician. Program Duration/Commitment 6 month training program beginning summer 2026 (rolling start dates available) 24 month commitment as an ER clinician at USV-G following training Location Upstate Vet Emergency & Specialty Care – Greenville: 393 Woods Lake Road, Greenville, SC 29607 Program Highlights Rotate with other specialty services during the training program Always work with a dedicated mentor on shifts No on-call Competency-based curriculum with asynchronous learning and weekly live virtual didactic rounds Regular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors Want to know more?
