Seeking a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
with specialization in
wound care . The nurse will perform wound assessments, manage care plans, provide education to staff, and ensure residents’ skin and wound health in compliance with facility policies and clinical standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform wound assessments, reassessments, and management for all residents. Develop skin care programs to prevent skin breakdown. Implement policies for management of wounds, fistulae, tubes, ostomy care, and incontinence. Revise care plans based on resident response and treatment effectiveness. Assess and manage pain; educate residents and families on pain management. Serve as a resource to nursing staff; provide in-services on wound care, ostomy care, and incontinence. Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Ensure accurate documentation according to current standards. Stay current with training, continuing education, and best practices in wound care. Required Qualifications
Active
LPN or RN license
in Arizona. Certification as a
CWOCN
(Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse) or
CWCN
(Certified Wound Care Nurse). Ability to obtain and maintain
Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card . Current CPR/BLS Certification . Local candidates only – available for in-person interviews and start within 2 weeks of offer. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a
