The Field Support Representative (FSR) serves as a key technical liaison between Daher and its global network of distributors, service centers, and customers. This role provides expert troubleshooting, maintenance guidance, and customer support to ensure Daher aircraft are serviced in accordance with the latest technical standards and ethical practices. The FSR monitors maintenance performance, generates technical reports, and supports warranty and logistics coordination. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, the FSR builds trusted relationships, facilitates technical communication, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the support network. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide technical/troubleshooting assistance and service to customers, through the distributor and service center network. Monitor and report customers maintenance performance and provide recommendations to ensure that Daher products are maintained in accordance with up-to-date manual and ethical practices. Gain customers’ acceptance and confidence in judgment. Anticipate, evaluate and respond to customers’ needs and requests in a timely manner. Conduct efficient follow-up for customers satisfaction, ensuring all commitments are met while working with Daher customer support teams. Collect and analyze technical data and generate event reports. Distribute event reports to relevant departments using the most expeditious means of communication. Follow-up of Distributors and Service Centers domestic and abroad by: Ensuring the network is equipped with the proper tools and updated technical documentation. Verifying the network follows the rules set up by DAHER and agreed by contract. Developing quality/professional relationships with the Distributors and the service centers.
Interact with Technical Publications regarding upcoming technical data releases. Be available to provide afterhours support as required. Assist the support network in warranty administration and parts/logistic coordination. Report in writing and/or verbally on a weekly basis to hierarchy all data concerning technical issues and activity towards their resolution. Take the initiative to continuously learn new systems as they are introduced into the Daher fleet of aircraft and assist with improvements of existing aircraft systems and network processes. Make contributions towards building up and sharing knowledge database and reduce the amount of repetitive work/research to be done by support team. Part time work in the OEM Part 145 Repair Station or Mobile Response Team as needed. Attending trade shows, safety seminars or company events in a supportive capacity as required. Position Requirements :
HS diploma or GED required. BS in engineering, mechanical or electrical is preferable or comparable work experience. Preferable to have FAA A&P and/or FCC license for FSR This work requires a great deal of autonomy but regular reporting to its hierarchy. An ability to establish a high communication level with network and customers. Good technical knowledge of DAHER products, including airframe, engine, propeller, and avionics. Computer skills to use electronic technical documentation, reports, e-mails. Valid passport. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally. Frequent domestic travels. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and presenting in public). A second language is beneficial. Flexible work schedule with overtime as requested based on demand. Computer literacy and proficiency using Microsoft applications to provide analytical reports and presentations is a must. Compensation & Benefits :
Salary Range: $28.00 – $36.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. An additional compensation provided for afterhours support. Overtime opportunities available.
