Key Responsibilities
Support the Superintendent, Project Manager, or Assistant PM with scheduling, progress tracking, and construction coordination
Provide weekly updates on project performance and milestones
Issue RFPs and gather subcontractor bids
Organize and lead subcontractor site walk‑throughs
Evaluate subcontractor proposals and assist with bid scopes and negotiations
Manage submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
Maintain current project logs and punch lists
Assist with jobsite quality control and documentation
Ensure jobsite drawings, specifications, and as‑builts are up to date
Participate in safety monitoring and compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field from a 4‑year university
At least 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, or equivalent internship/training
Strong knowledge of plan reading, submittals, specifications, and construction processes
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to foster positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors
Familiarity with multi‑story and concrete structures preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Procore, and Bluebeam
