Overview

ACG Builds is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects across the Seattle metro area. Projects include retail spaces, modern offices, multi-family developments, and senior living communities. You will work directly with a Project Manager, Assistant PM, and Superintendent, providing support from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating subcontractors, managing documents, tracking progress, and contributing to project success daily. We are a fast-growing Washington-based general contractor with a collaborative culture and opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities

Support the Superintendent, Project Manager, or Assistant PM with scheduling, progress tracking, and construction coordination Provide weekly updates on project performance and milestones Issue RFPs and gather subcontractor bids Organize and lead subcontractor site walk-throughs Evaluate subcontractor proposals and assist with bid scopes and negotiations Manage submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs Maintain current project logs and punch lists Assist with jobsite quality control and documentation Ensure jobsite drawings, specifications, and as-builts are up to date Participate in safety monitoring and compliance Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field from a 4-year university At least 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, or equivalent internship/training Strong knowledge of plan reading, submittals, specifications, and construction processes Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to foster positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors Familiarity with multi-story and concrete structures preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Procore, and Bluebeam Benefits

Full-Time - Monday to Friday In-person, based at our Harbor Island office in Seattle, WA Location

Harbor Island - Seattle, WA This is a local position with no remote option. Applicants must be located in or near Seattle and available to report onsite daily.
