What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Design and analyze collection systems for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage facilities - Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies to ensure system reliability and compliance - Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for collection systems and electrical designs - Support field activities by providing guidance and addressing design issues - Communicate effectively with various teams throughout the project lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, renewable engineering, or a relevant field - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in power systems, renewable energy, or utility-scale electrical engineering - Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred - Proficient in electrical design software such as ETAP, PSCAD, SKM, or equivalent - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Master’s degree in engineering with a renewable energy focus - Knowledge of renewable energy industry relating to utility-scale wind and solar projects - Ability to work on multi-discipline projects - Technical writing and communication skills - Willingness to travel up to 10%
