Job Summary: Perform all mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance throughout property.
ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(May include, but is not limited to the following)
Implement routine maintenance and urgent repair works in accordance with sound engineering practices and occupational health and safety regulations
Closely monitor the effects of servicing and maintenance on their condition wherever possible
Ensure that all records of maintenance and testing are kept
Perform preventive maintenance of all mechanical equipment
Able to work on Kitchen equipment inclusive with refrigeration
Lamp replacement
Fixture repair and replacement
Circuit breaker reset
Change AC filters
Hotel Guest room repairs
Respond to Maximo WO’s
Support events

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Worked in the Engineering or Facilities department in relation to general building maintenance Familiar with Plumbing systems Familiar with HVAC systems Intimate knowledge of all electrical Minimum 3 years’ experience in above duties is preferred High School diploma or equivalent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position) Work may be performed inside and outside in all types of weather conditions, in small areas, such as attics, and high areas such as catwalks, areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or brightly illuminated. Work entails use of chemicals, and electrical and mechanical devices. Constant contact with staff and guests. Requires 90% mobility to include frequent standing, bending and reaching from floor to 6ft., climbing using ladders and stairs; operating equipment such as scissor lifts, forklift, pallet jack; transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering large loads weighing up to 100 lbs., use of hand and power tools. Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires normal sense of smell, touch, and sound. Requires normal vision range. Requires the ability to distinguish letters and symbols. Requires communicating by telephone, beeper and radio. GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS : Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
