The Construction Programs Manager - with a focus in Training, provides direction, organization, and administration of assigned national construction portfolio management for Medxcel Planning, Design, and Construction. The Construction Programs Manager will execute the program’s policy and procedures in accordance with established objectives and initiatives to execute the portfolio of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. Facilities served include, but are not limited to, hospitals, medical and physician offices, senior care, and community health facilities. This position is located at US/Remote Office. Responsibilities

Oversee and manage national construction programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulations. Lead the planning, tracking, and execution of complex capital projects nationwide, managing scope, schedule, and budget. Prepare project budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding while coordinating internal and external audits. Establish and maintain clear project schedules and define team roles based on project requirements. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to departmental operations. Evaluate key project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines. Identify, track, manage, and mitigate project risks while developing contingency plans as necessary. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal leaders, clients, designers, consultants, and construction managers, to support Medxcel goals and strategic initiatives. Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of project expectations and risks. Report risks, issues, and key metrics to Medxcel leadership, maintaining accurate documentation of project health indicators, including budget burn and timeline adherence. Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure safety measures and building codes are adhered to throughout the national project lifecycle. Prepare and deliver presentations to executive stakeholders, communicating project status, quality, and satisfaction metrics. Qualifications

Education Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, engineering, or management – required. MBA or other graduate degree – preferred. License/Certification Valid Driver’s license – required. Certified Healthcare Construction Certificate (CHC) or Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) – preferred. Experience 8 years of healthcare construction project management experience – required. Experience developing construction programs and managing a large portfolio of work – required. 10 years of healthcare construction project management – preferred. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Thorough knowledge of construction processes, contracting, estimating techniques, commissioning and safety procedures related to construction and renovation, including Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) and Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) in a healthcare setting. Ability to coordinate efficient assignment and management of matrixed staff and work with teams to develop scope, schedule, and budget for new projects. Ability to develop, design, construct, procure equipment, and manage installation and licensure of Ambulatory Care/Surgical facilities, including major and minor equipment and FFE. Ability to manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively, including executive-level presentations and proposals. Experience leading national-scope projects with understanding of corporate practices, healthcare building codes, and industry standards. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and lead complex situations to resolution. Proficiency in project management software, MS Office Suite, and web technologies. Ability to coordinate program portfolio plans, establish partnerships, resolve conflicts, and maintain high-level interpersonal and presentation skills. Intra-state, overnight travel may be required up to 25%.
