Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in an industrial plant; will assume supervisor responsibilities as defined by the Operations Manager. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow; designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts; evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to inform management decisions. Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Solves problems promptly; collaborates in group problem solving; works daily with production operators to understand equipment and improve machine run times. Engages in project management tasks as needed and communicates effectively (oral and written). Maintains safety, ethics, organizational support, and adaptability in daily operations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field. Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; metalworking (forming, rolling, etc.) experience required; aerospace fastener experience preferred. Physical Demands

Regularly seated; frequently standing; occasionally walking; may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include near, far, and color vision. Work Environment

Typical on-site manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. Compensation

Pay range: $95,000–$110,000 per year. Compensation varies by qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Some roles may include incentives such as equity, commissions, or performance bonuses. Details provided during interview. Benefits
